Hi,
A while back I acquired a box of RCA CDrom recordable discs. These are 2X 700 MB, 80 Mins. Digital Audio, Recordable Audio Compact Discs. I have tried amny times to try to record these, using my Burner, and using nero and alos EZCD6. No luck, I get error messages. What is going on? I have tried buring MP3's and also other formats, wavs, conversions, etc..etc..a nd nothing but error messages? I know I may have to give mor einformation, but my CD Burner works fine. it is not new, a couple years old, its a Mitsumia 4801-TE. CD-R.
Anyone know why these discs refuse to record Audio ???

Thanx..

note: I don't want to throw these away but I don't need any more coasters...

maybe it's simply an incompatibility between your burner and the media;
Why didn't you bought the media brand which ever worked for you till now?

you should also repport us the precise error mesage or as example the Nero error log file;

It might just be that these RCA DA Discs don't work in my recorder....one of those stupid error messages (that do not help at all) say that. I wil just throw the damned things out. I got them very cheap and now I know why. garbage.
I did tons of searching for info on RCA discs and it's almost impossible tofind any info. Again, now I know why.

:(

Take care and thanx anyways..

Maybe you should throw your writer first......Need newer firmware then 2.xx to burn80 min cds,cant overburn,cant burn 90/99 minutes,cant burn cd-text,,Cant read those""special tages""for audio recording cds......etc..etc....Discs are ok btw,just your writer cant burn`em.....
