ok i downloaded part two of star wars episode two however it is in .rar format it is made out of 51 segments ex .r01 , .ro2 ect. I am not sure how to convert to a bin so i can then convert to a mpeg so i can burn with nero. i have iso buster but iam not sure how to used the extracted vcd files once you extract. i am lost and this is really getting fustating because i have part one playing on the big screen but it came in a simple .avi format Thanks to those who may respond

greetz

open winrar...first
go to you dir with the files you want to extract
right click on the .r00 and click extract....should unpack fine...

I think people are missing a point here if there in rar format in the old style r00 r01 r02 r03 etc etc then they usually start with .rar as the very 1st rar file as this usually has the header/file count information in it!,

If this file isnt present then it will prolly fail to extract :(

and also depending on what format the film is ripped in depends on how you convert it to bin /iso format a good tip here is if the film is full and entire and not spilt in 2 parts and around 700 meg then its prolly a dat/mpeg file if its around 200 meg or 300 then its prolly divx or low quality asf or other then you may have to convert it back to make it into a suitable format for vcd !!! as most DIVX out there are pretty rough round the edges :(

No doubt our resident VCD expert CHICKENMAN is reading this and can fully elaborate and detail this process more than i can! :D !!!

hope this helps :D

:D :D :D

New to this forum but have learned a lot in one day

In nero you can select BURN IMAGE from the drop down file menue
and select the bin/cue image file and burn to cd straight from there....;)
