just bought new mb with raid but not sure if it will work for my as i have 2 hard drives both maxtor but ,one is 20 gig and other is 60 gig i have read alittle about raid but am mixed up as it says that the raid will make hd both work like 20 gig so i would lose 40 gig is this write .i would be very grate ful for help as i know nothing about raid .

Depends. From what I read, RAID 0 is for performance so 1/2 your stuff will be on the 20GB and the other will be on the 2nd drive so 40GB total instead of 80GB. If you used RAID 1 which is for mirroring, then I think it's the same issue except you only have 20 gigs total instead of 40 gigs total as with RAID 0.
