They made some sort of "crocodile tears" apology and replaced that version fairly quickly, as the stand against peple eliminating their adware backfired spectacularly.
Ad-Aware does NOT guarantee that the host program will continue to work, and it's a simple matter for the host program to validate the adware components - or to build them in and not splatter them all over the victims PC and "forget" to remove them whrn uninstalled.
