been having trouble with choppy playback. have athlon 2800, 512, gigabyte ga-7vaxp
use dvd decrypter to rip, dvd shrink, imagetool .91 to create an .iso, then burn with decrypter again.
all the threads i've read point to media as the prob for bad playback. i am using phillips 2.4x +rw discs from best buy. do phillips suck?
the philips brand discs are labeled as "cmc mag-w0l-00" in the disc id section of decrypter. the HP discs i just bought are labeled "philips-041-00" in decrypter. HUH?? no bad burns yet with the "HP" discs though
just bought 25 4x +rw ridata oem discs from new egg b/c all posts say they are best. never used ritek yet, but since can't find them retail, is new egg ok? where do the experienced ritek users purchase them from?? thanks...
