question about copying protected game ??

hi

i want to know what is the advantage of copying protected game and you can run the game with ( NO CD CRACK ) ????

is it bad when you put a crack in game CD ??

thanks..........

You would need a new crack any time you install an update. Perfect copys run on every PC and you can't get any problems.

to be honest, perfect copying seems to take so much effort and time and testing that it's just easier to wait for a crack (which is out pretty much immediately over at game copy world). As you are typically installing the whole cd anyway, i prefer to use a NOCD crack.

I personally find this 1:1 duplicating too bothersome. And it's always a game that you are behind in anyway.

Not to say i don't recognise the benefits or am slagging peopel that do!

:D

Its easy for me to make a 1:1 backup, and else I would coupy the game to HD and mount it with daemon tool and don't need a crack. I never needet them, to get a game working.

By the way, with the new Clone CD and Blindwrite its easier, they can run the game although its not a real 1:1 copy (witout crack).

when you do that are you also doing a full install or partial install of games? what about for games that only allow full installs? does that mean you need another 700mb of disc space just to mount the cd?

Yes, why not? Hard disk space is cheap enough. I havn't that many CDs. When I buy a new game I copy it first on HD and usually concentrate on that one. I have of course from all games a 1:1 copy. The next step would be to burn this images to a DVD mount the images from the DVD. I think DVD will become cheap like CD-Burners.

lol, man , i'm aching for a new hard disc but can't afford it! my 60gb is nearly full and i want to mount sample cd images too ;D

i am sure in 3-5 years dvd burners will be very cheap if it follows the same pattern as cd writers.

in 1997 i bought my first 2x for £210
in 1999 i bought my 4x for £175
in 2000 i got a 12x for £180
and in 2002 i got a 40x for £80
