Question about chickenmans divx to dvd tutorial.

Hi ive got the movie red dragon it was in 2 xvid file and it has ac3 5.1 448 sound,ive joined them both together into one file,what im wondering is if i do the tutorial of chickenmans will it still have ac3 5.1 sound in the end og the conversion.

Absolutely, the Audio is NOT processed in any way here, you would naturally use the origianl extracted AC3 audio track when you author in SpruceUp or Maestro or whatever.

If an error is reported loading in the AC3 track, just convert AC3 to AC3 with AC3Machne or BeSweet GUI making sure you select 5.1 ch AC3 @ 448 bitrate. Then it will load in fine.

Yeh thanks chickenman i think ive just stuffed up because im in the middle of doing the spruseup part but i used the encoded audio and deleted the extracted audio,now i realise that the extracted audio was the untouched ac3 audio,oh well i guess im restarting the whole prosess again,anyway thanks for your help mate.

Just rename the *.mpv file so it doesnt get deleted accidently, then just do a recover (in Misc tab of DVD2SVCD) and stop it onve the Audio has been extracted. Then carry on from there authoring.
