Ps2 Using DVD9 now? Help..

I heard a whisper that the recently released in japan (and ol' mighty) Gran Turismo 4 which is banging around japan streets now is actully a DVD9. Is there a way to convert it to DVD5? I doubt DVD shrink would do the trick..or would it? Thanks!!

if this is the case then u will need a DUAL LAYER dvd burner to get a copy of that game!

No theres no way to convert it. You would have to have a Dual Layer burner and Dual Layer DVD+R media to burn the iso. (i've seen the chinese gt4 on the net alreay,lol)

I see, thanks a lot guys, I'll just wait till march, dont feel like spending $75.00 on the JAP VER. Aspech since i wasnt too amused with the driving phyisics in GT4 Prolouge. I'll play my Toca race drive 2 untill then.
