Ps2 & Dvd-rw

I have got a chip (p'n'p key) I followed the tutorial exactly but cannot get the gfamr to boot. I copied GT3 and am using GT3 original as well as an AR2 to boot.
Any help would be appreciated

i dont know what gfamr is but on all the neo2 based chips to boot a dvdr the toc size of the original that you use needs to be greater than the toc of the backup you are booting (or the same size).

as for -rw discs, as has already been said the ps2 can boot them BUT its not as reliable or as stable as -r and as with -r it relies on you using decent quality media, the cheapos just dont work well on ps2.

$5 jeez import some from europe m8 they cost about 75 cents each, good ones only cost around $1.50 each

Thanks for the help.

ABC Man you got a link to a site that sells DVD-R, $1.50 is that US? Coz that's $3.00 here and not bad if I dont get stung duty.

Some inexpensive DVD-R/RW media in the US

50 Lead Data for $42.50 or 50 Ritek for $43.50. I have purchased the Ritek from here and they work fine.

I have purchased these from here and have had no compatability issues:
50 DVDPro Grade A for $40.50 and 25 DVDPro DVD-RW for $28.75

I use them to burn backup commercial DVD movies, PS2 games and make data DVDs.
