ps2 burning problem

I am having a problem shrinking my ps2 game gramd tourismo 4. Dvd decryptor burns the image but when I use dvd shrink it says dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid navigation structure.

Does anyone know what could cause this. I reburnt it with decryptor and its still says the same.

I don't know anything about PS2 burning but I do know that it will help if you give the version number for your software.:)

You can't shrink a dvd-9 game with dvd movie tools...
Rumors are,that you even can't backup it on an empty dvd-9 with a recorder that supports double layer,due to the fact that the correct navigation structure is gone on the backup,because the second layer of the dvd is read as opposite track path when you create an image of it...
If the original layer order is pressed as parallel track path,your backup won't work properly.....
Hope for ya that the rumors are wrong.....
