How do you take a DVD PS2 Game and back it up on a Blank CD-R? Is there a tutorial on this site I could use? My computer has a DVD Drive and a seperate CD-R Drive is that all I need? What burning software do you recommend for the job? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

read the guides in the gaming forum as suggested :)

YES Its possible to backup a dvd game to CDR but and its a very BIG BUT it will NOT be an exact replica it will be a STRIPPED DOWN loads of stuff missing like music or in game video type stuff version as opposed to a FULL dvd backup you would get owning a dvd burner and not a cdr burner :)

so to sum up yes you can but you have to loose some content to get it to fit and in some cases .... forget it you would loose that much trying to squash it down/reduce the size to fit it would be pointless :(

You can use "Rip Kits" (or perform the rip yourself), but as Viper says this strips out a substancial part of the game content (movies etc)

We dont have ripkits at this site, but my buddy Alucard hosts a site with the best collection of rip kits on the net
