Programs To Burn Ps2 Games

Does anybody have any where I can get some free software of the net to burn my PS2 games

Alcohol 120% can do it but it is not free

But u also need to modify PS2 to play burned games

Not tried it (to burn PS2 games that is), but how about BurnAtOnce?

Also as said Alcohol 120% or RecordNow Max, which are both available as free trials.

For DVD based games you can try DVD Decrypter

Other than that stick with a free trial if you only want to backup a couple of games, otherwise look to purchase/register the applications. I would personally look to get CloneCD (for CD based games) and RecordNow Max (for DVD based games). The cost to purchase these is not that much and they are very useful programs.

Is there any specific reason why you'd suggest using CloneCD vs. Alcohol 120% for CD based games?
I'm just curious. I have not had a chance to backup any CD based games cause I don't have any. I respect your opinion and would just like to hear your thoughts.

PS DVD Dycrypter works GREAT with DVD based games. I know I did 10 without any problems

I have been using CloneCD for ages now (PSX days). I think that for me it is tried & tested and gives 100% successful results, that is why I recommend it to people.

CloneCD vs Alcohol 120% - I have only used Alcohol 120% a handful of times so cannot really comment on it. Although, from what I have seen and heard it is a very reliable and useful program.

I use RecordNow for DVD and cloneCD for CD based games. I have also used RecordNow for CD and had no worries.
