Problems With Video Card!!

I have been Building my own computer for many months now and been buying parts for it. After looking on the internet for compatible stuff; power supply, vidcard, HD and other stuff All i lacked was a HD and vidcard. I ordered a eVGA Geforce FX 5600XT 256 MB DDR vidcard. I took the hard drive out of this computer, a maxor 20gb with windows 2000 sp3. And proceeded to put my comp togather. It all gos fine untill widows trys to boot then i get a blue screen telling me that my boot device isn't accessable I dunno whats going on. I can't even boot into the other modes, Safe Mode and such. Please help me, a detailed description of me comp is below.

Power Supply: Antec 430W
AMD Athlon 2400+ XP Thorbred Prosesser
K7S5A Pro Motherbord
256 MB SD 133mhz Ram
eVGA GeForce FX 5600XT Vidcard
Windows 2000 sp3

1st of all, moving a hd with a complete hardware configuration into another computer without Norton Ghost or SysPrep is a bad idea....you probably have to format yor hd and reinstall all your programs to get your system working properly
2nd:check in your bios if the FSB of your cpu is running @ 133/133...any ECS 7S5A is a pain to get a cpu running at another speed than it's default....

ok so my best bet whould be just to get a new HD for this other comp? Cuz the HD I was trying to boot is the one I'm using right now. And its my dads.

Your best bet is 1. reading the above link, 2. having the Windows CD handy.
Backing up the HD contents before wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I don't understand what that says to do. Also Ain't that for windows XP. Couldn't it just be the vid card isn't compatible with the M/B?

well I found out what it is but why whould I need a cd emulater?

I don"t know why YOU would need it,but lots of people use it :D, and I do know that the latest version of DaemonTools causes BSOD when making hardware changes, like connecting new atapi devices or upgrading firmware....since you moved that harddisk to another computer, there are also new atapi devices that needed to be recognised, that's why I asked....

PS:at the POST screen, what info is displayed about your processor?

the post screen?
Power On Self Test......it's the info that is displayed when your system boots up.......black screen, white characters..;) .you can halt it by hitting the pause/break button of your keyboard, and resume by hitting enter...

so is that whats keeping it from starting up and giving me Unacessible boot device? Is there a way to find out if this vid card is even compatible with my M/B? a list or somthing.
