problems with pioneer 107

Hello everyone, I have purchased a pioneer 107 oem, and have had lots of problems, anyway after following the tutorial ive managed to successfully burn a backup with dvdr-, (many thanks for that!), anyway the problem i have now is that my 107 wont work with dvdr+ disks, it works fine with dvdr- but when i try copying a dvdr+ with burn at once it says 0 mb free on disk,the drive dosn't recognise dvdr+, are all 107's dual format? I have installed the latest firmware availible on this site (official) hoping this was the right thing to do,the drive came with no drivers as it was oem, do I need drivers? or is my windows xp ok at installing its own? if I need drivers where could i get them? anyway thanks for your time.

ps thought id just mention that ive tryed 3 brands of dvdr+ and none of them work with my 107 (datawrite,infinity and arita)

BAO doesn't support +burning natively; you need the ProDVD plugin;
