Hello to everybody there. I am new to the club. I have a problem to report in case that somebody out there can help me. I have a Philips CDRW 1610A model and Easy Cd creator platinum 5.02d. The problem is that finalized Audio CD's cannot be played in Home and/or Car CD players as well as with the computer. Data recording is not a problem.

Audio cds should be fairly easy task (as long as hardware is allright and aspi).Check aspi first(download from cdrsoft if you dont have),and might give a try to some other soft,since ezcd is not a good choice..belive me on this one..or check search on forum,people just having trouble with it.J knew that eazcd installs aspi,but younewer knowe with this kind of program.If j were you,j would format hd..unless you ghosted it.

When I insert the CD all the media players that I have, Windows media player 7.1, Windows default player (Win 98se) and Musicmatch recognize it as an audio CD, read the track list but when they start playin it a hum is coming out of the speakers. Are you copying these discs using "CD Copier" in V5 m8?
I had exactly the same problem when V5 first came out and never solved it. I always use Clone CD to copy audio, many here prefer Feurio or Exact Audio Copy which are bothe excellent for audio.
If you want to try them out download them from the downloads section. But as said above make sure that your ASPI layer is good first. Download ASPI Check from the CDRsoft downloads section and run the check, if it fails try first the Adaptec 4.60 layer and if that won't work out use the Force ASPI instead.

Thanks everybody for the valuable information and/or advice. Anyway Feurio does not support my recorder at the moment. If anybody knows of another programm small, simple and effective, which can help me in making Audio CD compilations, tracks from different CD's, I would very much appreciated.
I tried yesterday Padus software and really works. Off course requires some experience and is not as user friendly as Easy CD creator. Anyway I have another question in case that somebody can help me out. I have dowloaded from this site Instant CD/DVD program and the key. It looks nice and supports my CDRW. Does somebody have experience in using it. If yes please can you share it with me.
If you are looking for something quick and easy for burning Audio MP3 CD Burner is great software. It will also make sure that the Volume levels are close equal. This is one of the easiest MP3 to Audio CD programs I have ever used.
How old are the CD players that you are trying to play the disc in? Might also be that the Optical Pick up in the unit is old and causing your problem.
