Can not write DVD-R or CD-R. Can read DVD's & CD's. I am using Ritek4x DVD-R. I have flashed the firmware 1.10 to 1.13. I am using ASPI 4.6 from ForceASPI17. I am running Windows XP Home. I have tried re-format and a new install of windows. I have a Giga-byte (GA-7VAXP ULTRA) MOBO w/VIA KT400, Athalon 2100+, 512 DDR333 Mem, 80 gig HD.
SOFTWARE: I have tried MGI Videowave4 and Nero 6.3.1.6 and get an error "E:\ is not accessible. Invalid Function". I was able to burn a DVD-R using Clone DVD so I know the burner works, But I don't like the software.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Also, any recommendations on DVD software. I am looking for something to back-up my DVD's and also edit home movies onto DVD. Is there an all in one software or two brands of software that are compatable.
