alright i had a problem on my pc so i formated it it was 120gb i formated it and now its 31gb ive tried to install me and it just freezes on 100% of setup process i tried xp do you know when it comes up windows setup with blue screen it wont go past that to install it and it wont format it or set it as an active partion any ideas what i can do or am i doing something wrong
any help much appreciated

If you want to continue using ME,you have a few different options:

1.you need a utily from the harddisk manufacturer to prepare the harddisk to reclaim it's full capacity....

2.Or you can also partition the harddisk in 4 partitions of 30 GB:
1 primary to put your os on and an extended 1 with 3 logical partitions......
you can do this with a win 98 bootdisk(maybe with a winME bootdisk too,not shure)or a 3th party program,like Partition Magic ,Vcom's System commander and similar...

3.Ditch ME(worst M$ operating system EVER)and replace it with XP or win 2000

also my other drive with xp on it wont let me install office xp sayin i havent got adminastrator priverlages
