problem????

I got one dvd rip from a friend and i can play in a win med.player but there is no sound at all???Also whwn i play it in a windvd recorder there is a picture only too???Its a divx and for sound it says its a ac3--448 b/for 5 channels.......And that codec is installed.....What can be wrong??Also i do have a divx installed,version5.05....

Tryd to play with a power dvd,windvd,wmp9..no sound..Tryed to play analog--2 speakers,and thry my spdif--same thing????

In addition to an AC3 decoder/filter you need to have either an AC3/AVI parser installed or use a player with built in support.

Try using media player classic or install either mpgaudio.ax or Gabest's parser (same as built into mpc).
