Problem with Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.5

I recently downloaded Ulead mediastudio pro 6.5 and crack patched it. I thought that the crack patch would make it fully operational, but every time I try and save a video I make it puts a big red X over the videos display. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
