Problem with Outlook Express, contacts and adress book

Although my adress book is full there isn't anything under the tabd "contacts",even if make a new contact. Any ideas?

Are you sure the registry points to the right file (.wab) ?

How can i verify this?

perform a search in your registry and search this:
"Wab File Name" without the quotes

it is normally here :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4\Wab File Name

and verify in the right panel if the path and the file name in the REG_SZ are correct

Could it be a virus?

perhaps you have more tha one "user" in your adress book, and you just have to copy all the contacts to your user profile...

C:\Documents and Settings\"your_user_name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{"HEXA CODE"}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Replace "your_user_name" by the good value
Replace "HEXA CODE" by the good value
Save the .wab located in Address Book folder and all the files located in Outlook Express folder
