problem with nero wave editor !!!

i still have problem with nero wave editor...
I USE:
windows me, nero 5599,plextor 40\12\40A,wma plugin,mp3pro
plugin,new plex tools,update aspi with very new i think 4.7,
EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECT....
EXCEPT NERO WAVE EDITOR
when i'm trying to save a mp3 to the same position with SAVE
OR WITH SAVE AS... mp3..
wave editor dissapear !!!!
if i save as... wave NO PROBLEM !!!
SAME PROBLEM HAS AND A FRIEND WITH THE SAME NERO VERSION BUT WITH WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION....
i need to use nero wave editor because is FASTER from
other editors... I HAVE ALL (COOL EDIT PRO,SOUNDFORGE,
AUDIO DELUXE ETC...)
MY JOB IS DJ AND I NEED TO CLEAN FAST THE MANY MP3 TRACKS
SO I DON'T HAVE TIME WITH OTHER PROGRAMMES....
SOMEBODY HELPS !!!!

try to give the new (to saving) file a different name;
like: open bumbum.mp3 > editing > save as bumbum2.mp3

ISTR the editor in 5.5.9.9 was VERY troublesome in Win98SE - I ended up doing a mix'n'match with components from an earlier build.

5.5.9.14/17 were better for me - the same may apply in WinME.

Have you got the unlimited MP3 encoding addon? - you may have run out of encodes otherwise!

I just tried it - after setting MP3. or twinVQ, hitting OPTIONS drops me out - I do not have the FULL plugin installed, maybe that is REQUIRED.
