Problem with nero and manny sessions

I have used 2 different versions of nero (5582 and 5599). Both of them have the same problem. When i try to add a session in a multisession cd that has 3 or more sessions (and sometimes more than 2) nero shows that the the cdr is full although it isn't. In fact the capacity bar at the bottom of nero exceeds the 900 mb limit. Is there a fix for this issue?

i think i don't know if im right here poko you will prolly know that each multi session burn in and burn out space consumption is approx 25 meg with nero !? im not sure !? 3 x 25 is if this is the case then if theres 3 sessions then 75 meg used !? more if more sessions !? i cant remember where i read this ?! a puter magazine im not sure this may or may not be the case !? if this is wrong then i stand corrected :D

First session requires the biggest portion; succeeding sessions take each approx 17MB overhead. It's the nature of multisessions>all burning proggies act in this way.
On the other side, packetwriting decreases a 650MB CD to 525 MB useful space.

Yesterday i burned a 11th session with Nero 5599, no problem for me. Are you sure the CDR is still not closed? Try the Media Info button in Nero to check the available capacity.

I don't want to know the size of the files that be recognized in the last writen TOC. Pokopiko is right (like every time), there are more data at the media as you can see. This isn't a Nero problem, it's a problem in your understanding. ;)

press the button with the blue "i" in Nero > select the right drive > Refresh > in the right upper angle is showing "Available Capacity"

The files occupy just 275mbytes!!
It doesn't matter if the file is 275MB or 275 bytes, each additional session will cost you somewhere between 15-20MB overhead. IOW, if you want to add

275MB -> you will need around 290-295MB of space
275 bytes -> you will need around 15,000,275 - 20,000,275 bytes (hope I get the # right).

Or 10 sessions will cost you 150MB - 200MB overhead.
