Problem with Nero 5582 burning svcd

Hello!

I've some probs by using nero 5582 and burning svcd videos.
I can't burn CDs (700 MB Blanc Disk) with about 788 MB
Videodata (mpeg2 svcd format).

Nero tells me always the capacity of the blanc cd doesn't
confirm to the selected file.

I think nero won't registrate that the selected data is
a videofile...

but why?

Can anyone help?

Can you give more detail of what kind of file you want to burn (MPG-1, MPG-2, BIN/CUE creates by CDRWin, BIN/CUE creates by other?), what mode you selected, and what Nero reported?

most important thing when your burn VCD or SVCD is how long the video is. Don't look at the size of it but the time of it.

Just as a reference:
VCDs you can burn a max of 78min on an 80min CD-R (700MB) & SVCDs you can only burn a max of 45min pm am 80min CD-R.

yup...

just in case there is a "bug" in 5.5.8.2...

try to change the interface to express mode...
shouldn`t have any imortance.. but there have been reports
on the nero core.. to act better with the express mode/gui...

i have burned files with express.. that the ordinary nero
would not do.. (funny.. when you think about it..
afterall.. it is the same source...)

;)
