I use my pioneer 106 to produce movies on for different firms or private persons

Until now - i have used Ritek medias - and never had any problems.

2 days ago i got a bundle of branded dvd-r 4xspeed of "4COS" medias.
the add said it was tested with pioneer 106 firmware 107 (like mine)
but what ever speed - what ever production i make - it starts to chop in the movie about after 1 hour of movie.
I tried alot of different programs - known and unknown - the same result everytime..

Anybody got any suggestions ?

This is a typical symptom of bad media. The answer is to use good media. The latter part of the movie is recorded on the outer edge of a dvdr. This portion of the media a) spins faster (making writing more tenuous), and b) gets less dye during the manufacturing process (particularly in cheap media).

Use these up for short movies/data, and buy some reliable media.

I would go back to ritek media and if that works I would return your other media. But I would do it fast because if it is bad media that wouldn't be around long with their warranty.:D But I would get my money back!!!
