Problem with IE6 in XP-Pro

Hello

I have a major problem with IE6 at the moment.
Whenever a link opens a new window, that window refuse to open, and sort of freezes.
Any1 had this problem be4?

Do you have a firewall, or a popup-killer or a anonym proxy server lately installed on your pc?
Try to restore your IE settings to default!

I installed myfirewall again

I thought it was some dll problem, never thought of this

Nope, that's not it.

What happens is this.
I open up a new window from within a link, that window open (I see it in my taskbar), but nothing fills this window, iow it stays empty, not even the IE bar or something like that.

So looking futher on

@aNAREXIA - have you tried installing the SP1 update via Windows Update? I had SO many problems with XP and IE6 - lots of freezing and crashing for no reason but everything IMO is such much better now. I still get the odd "program name.... has caused an error and would you like to send a report to Microsoft" every now and then but nowhere near what it was like before. Good Luck M8.
