Problem with burning DVD-Rs, other media work

Hi all,

The situation I need troubleshoot is bizarre. My Toshiba DVD-RW burner stooped burning DVD-Rs. After my Nero reports that DVD is successfully done - it cannot be accessed. All other blank medias (CD-R, CD-RW DVD-RW) are just fine. There are no error messages whatsoever after during/after DVD-R burning process, unless I say "verify data after burning" - that one fails.

I tried to remove ASPI, tried to reinstall Nero, tried using Roxio, nothing helps. ( Well, I did not reinstall OS yet, but that's why I need your help to avoid this)

Have you changed brand of DVDR blanks? It could simply not like the media your using. What speeds are you burning at and what is the medias rated burn speed ? Try a DVD-RW, can you erase and burn to it okay?
