Problem with Back Up

I have ripped and saved to my hard drive, but when I try to back up and saving to ISO using DVD Shrink, I get the follwing at about 91%:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to write file 'VTS_06_1.VOB'

Access denied.

Ideas/suggestions anyone?

1.Shut down your antivirus, 2. Check the partition quotas (you might have exheeded them while writing to HD)- either disable quotas or free some space on that partition.

Hi Scarecrow ...... thanks for the tip ..... I wll try shutting down AV and see if that works ... have to be tomorrow.

As I have said in previous posts, I am very, very new to this DVD lark ..... maybe one day, step by step, I will suss it out

are you using NTFS partitions? if not, FAT32 has a 4gb limit for single files, and a full-sized single-layer dvd ISO would be 4.38gb.

Obviously it's not an ISO: VTS_06_1.VOB
But in some rare cases even a single .vob file can exheed 4G.

obviously dvdshrink is trying to write the vob to the iso. while it remains to be seen whether or not the cause of the problem is FAT32, i'll point out that 91% of 4.38gb is nearly 4gb.
