Problem with an iso

Please, help me. I open this image with nero but it says that:

"Foreign image file

The entered block size does not correspond to the image lenght. The block size may be wrong. Do you want to correct the value or ignore the problem?"

If I ignore it the image is burned but I can't see the contents. So how could I fix it? Thanks.

Yes, I've asked because I was suspecting that and yes, it was made with Easy CD Creator, ¡agh! I hate that program. Where could I see the correct block size in IsoBuster?

Thanks pokopiko. Only a question: if I look in iso properties with Isobuster it says that file system type is ISO9660. So why aren't Easy CD images ISO9660 compliant?

Hello again. If I look the iso properties with IsoBuster I can see:

-VD Address: 16

-VD Size (LBA): 1

-VD Size (Bytes): 2048

-Type: ISO9660

But how could I indicate this parameters to burn the image with nero?

This program show me a window (Foreign image settings) with the next options:

-Type of image

-Block size (Bytes)

-Image header (Bytes)

-Image trailer (Bytes)

...and three checkboxes:

-Raw data

-Scrambled

-Swapped

If I select a block sike of 2048 bytes and Data Mode 1 in "Type of image" the error message appears again. Please, help me :(.

I've tried to burn it with Padus DiscJuggler and I receive the next error:

"Unable to detect iso CD format: using user provided CD format"

So I must set this manually too :( .

I've tried CDmage, but the iso image isn't opened. I select M1/2048 track (*.iso) and when I try to open this another error appears:

"File length doesn't match sector boundary"

...and I can do nothing.

It sounds like you are using an older version of Nero which not yet directly support .ISO and BIN/CUE like newer version v5.x does (Nero has been a solid BIN/CUE and .ISO burner since v4.x but you have to manually enter the Mode and Bloack Size).

With Nero v4.x or earlier v5.x when it says "foreign image file" and saying that you have to give OK permission for it to continue etc.. then just click "OK" then with.

.ISO (only standard .ISO not new Roxio EZCD v5.x) you just use the default setting (Mode-1 and Block size).

BIN/CUE (v4.x you have to load .BIN file, v5.x you can load .CUE file) you just enter the "Mode" and "Block Size" find in .CUE file (2nd line of .CUE file).

Forgot to mention *if* the .ISO created by Roxio v5.x then it isn't the *original* standard .ISO format and most if not all current CDR program can't recognize it. And you can use a program like WinISO v5.x (you may be able to find it in main cdrsoft ?) to convert it to standard .ISO then you can burn it with just about all CDR programs support .ISO.

Thanks. I'll try to convert the image to standard iso with WinISO. I hope that it works. I was thinking to extract the CD contents with IsoBuster and then burn all in a CD-R with the original label but this solution is better.
P.S.: The nero version which I'm using is the last: 5.8.8.2.

Yeah... it works! I've converted the original iso file (made with Easy CD Creator) to standard iso image with WinISO and this is normally loaded and burned now. Thanks for your help! I love this forum ;) .
