Problem to cut svcd movie

I've converted an AVI/Divx 214 Mb into MPEG-2 (1.650 Mb in PAL 4:3 format) with TMPGEnc-2.58.44.152-Free (and its plugin TMPGEnc-2.58.44.152-Free-VFP ) after 8 hours !
But now the Merge and Cut tag in TMPGEnc have an error :
"Could not read this file with DirectShow" --> at the beginning i've changed the priority of DirectShow from -2 to 1 but now it doesn't work with -2, -1, 0 or 1;
and now i use mpegsplitv07.exe (just good !)

But someone know this kind of error!

Firstly, welcome to the forum.

A few people have had this problem but anormally changing the DirectShow priority fixes the problem. Also a re-install of TMPGEnc over the top of itself can also help.

Also have a look at this tutorial to convert your AVI to SVCD :

It encodes, cuts and add chapters and all you need to do is burn the CD's. Its quicker and quailty will be improved.

But the priority change not works !!!
