Problem Ripping Resident Evil

Hi
I have a original dvd of resident evil and i have tried ripping it to the hard disk with the latest version of smart ripper and also dvd decrypter. both the rippers rip the movie to the harddisk but when i play the movie i get no audio.

please help

i ripped Resident evil a few days ago with SmartRipper , and played it with PowerDVD , Worked Great.

yes, it will depend what you try playing it with (needs to have ac3 codec available for it).

In Smartripper, tick on Stream Processing tab. If stream processing is turned on, make sure the Video and audio track are ticked, else you end up with pic and no video.

As others have said, use only PowerDVD or WinDVD (preffered) to playback your DVD rips on the HD.
