I have some old US tv shows on dvd-r they all play fine,and I can back up 6 out of the 10 dvds I have,

but the other 4 cannot be read in dvdshrink,dvd copy platinum 2,or dvd decrypter with dvd clone 2, I get this message
-found and corrected IFO format errors -
- Fixed philips dvd recorder generated IFO files -

it starts to read and copy to the hard drive (very slowly ) then stops saying
SCHEDULER OE:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB:23:READ ERROR TC SECTOR READER TCE

The discs I had sent from the states are very light coloured dye and mirror finish on the top,are these discs the problem or how they where burnt ? anyone had a silmilar problem or know of a possible solution?

My PC is one week old pentium 4 2.9ghz 160gb hd 512 ram 8 x liteon dvd +- writer :mad:

looks really like a media problem; anyway try to use another DVD drive (or friend's PC) for ripping;
