Problem Partitioning 160gb Hard Drive in XP

I have just installed a 160gb Maxtor drive and all went well, except Windows XP Pro only sees it as a 127gb drive.
I created one partition only, during XP Installation.

I've been told I need the SP1A disk (which I have), to support a 160gb partition, , but cant figure out what to do with it ...... any ideas ?

u r using which file format?ntfs or fat32?wat mobo r u using?
err y not using several partitions?

Most likely it is a problem with your mainboard BIOS- orr if the disk is hooked on a PCI controller, with the PCI card BIOS.

Im using NTFS and an ECS K7S5A Motherboard .

Not sure about BIOS .... will ahve to check

PM8 did the trick .... I now have 153gb (163,913,347,072mb)
