Problem installing hdd(80gig)

Ive just purchased a new samsung st0802 ata 133 hdd,iwant to use it as a slave !.I piggybacked it to my seagate ata100 (20 gig). it appears in my bios and system information,but not in the "my computer " section!ive set the correct jumpers. please anyone know whats happening?

Does your BIOS REALLY support 80G harddisks?
If the drive is unformatted you will NOT find it under "my computer" but rather under settings/administrative options/disk management (2000/XP). You can format it /partition it from there, assign drive letter(s) and it will become visible under "my computer".
Also have in mind that if you have used "cable select" jumper settings then you either need an 80-wire IDE cable with your master disk connected to the far end of the cable, or a specially constucted 40-wire cable which is not so easy to find.
