Problem in Merging Mpeg-1 VCD Stream

Have worked my 2nd DVD rip, a concert movie, 16:9 widescreen, NTSC.
I rearranged the tracks to fit my listening pleasure, so some of the ending parts were trimmed, so with the start of some tracks. I then merged all the tracks back to make it one vcd file using TMPGEnc.
The problem is, when played, the resulting mpg/vcd "beeps in" exactly at the merged portion.
How do I merge .mpg files to have a smooth result when played?
Pls help. Thanks in advance.

Basically dont join all the MPG files together to make one big one. When using Nero to burn the VCD, just load each song MPG file in one after the other. Re-arrange to prefered order if needed. Now highlight all the imported mpg's, right click, select Properties and change the Pause After Track to be 0 seconds.

When you play back the above in your DVD Player, you can then also use the >>| (Next Track) button on your Remote control to jump forward to each separate track.
