Problem burning with BAO

If I try to burn with BAO, everything seems to work. However, in the end it all goes wrong. I get the following warning:

WARNING: TEST UNIT READY failed after recording
Flushing cahce...
Writing finished succesfully

However, from this point there is nothing I can do but turn off my computer. The cd-burner seems still to be bussy (lights blinking as if recording) and I cannot open the drive. Nor can I do anything at all, computer seems to hang.

After I restart the computer, the disk I just tried to record seems to be empty. Windows is showing all space free, and ISOmagic doesn't recognise anything on the disk either...

Any thoughts on what this may be and how I can get around this?

O/S: WinME on a pentium II (350Mhz)

You need ASPI 4.60.1021 (definitely not newer versions), an MMC-3 compatible burner and quite a bit of luck to burn under your OS... although it's possible. I've even managed to burn with BAO on a Pentium 166 with W98SE, 32 MB RAM- but on a SCSI burner.
Is it a CD or DVD burner?

I've ASPI 4.6 installed and not such problems with other burning software. I tried to use BAO becuase it looked really simple and therefore thought I could easily use it. I tried to burn a CD from ISOMagic first, but it siad that there was nog enough space (which I didn't understand) because BAO told me there would still a bit of space be left after burning. But you think the problems are because of WinME on slowish system?
