problem burning dvd

I am trying to backup my copy of "Catch me if you can" with Elaborate Bytes clone dvd,the copy proceeds well untill it gets to a certain point on the dvd and then i get a message saying there is a read error on the disk and it can not continue.The dvd will not play on my pc it stops at the same point as where i get the error message when trying to burn.The original dvd plays ok on my stand alone player.Wondering if any one has had the same problems with this disk.

Sounds like the DVD has a small manufacturing defect or a scratch. DVD Players tend to jump over these but the PC DVDROM doesnt. Try cleaning the DVD surface with some alcohol and a tissue and use DVD DEcrypter in File mode with DVD in your Burner to rip to the HD.
