Proble making DVD-R playable in standalone

I used to use CloneDVD, but wanted A program that I could control the compression ratio and split A 9 into 2/ 4Gb discs.
I now have DVD Shrink 3.1 /Decryptor / and burnatonce
The new discs wont play in my stand alone dvd players. Do i have a setting in wrong, or maybe burning the wrong type of file.
Any info into why clone will play and shrink will not would be appreciated.

Try using dvdxcopy platinum (get it while you can). There is also a small program called 321 gone that gets rid of the nag screen this program creates. Never tried it myself. Let us know if you use it.
