praise and a question

Congrats on the progress of Dvdstripper, even in the couple of new builds the ease of use and functionality have made a few of my dreams come true.

This is really what I was looking for in Dvdstripper and I am now able to remove parts that I don't want easily.

One question though, I have a disc which has a warning which is part of the fist menu displayed. When the main menu is displayed again it uses a different menu which doesn't have the "r" rated warning.

What I have done is copied the second menu over the first one then run Dvdstripper. Appears to work and then I have tried Clondvd which wont work on it but Dvdshrink does, then I burnt it with Nero.

All seems to work fine , my question is should this work or am I just lucky with this disc. Oh and the files were a different size, i guess what I am saying should the difference in Vob size stuff up the structure .

Thanks

Thanks for feedback :)

I do know that sometimes different main menu's are displayed as I've seen a few

I'm not sure what you mean about the R rating being part of the actual menu. Is is a motion menu and is it displayed in the actual menu or is it in the VOB that plays leading up to the menu?. What does this menu ask for?

can you not adjust the IFO's to start with the main menu? By swapping the VOB's it may have messed up the structure a little to confuse CloneDVD but not Shrink. The button commands will all still be there so it would still work in most plyayers but only because the 2 menu's sound like they are similar

anyway I'm pleased you got it to work the way you want by experimenting, sounds like someone I know ;)
