PowerDVD v4 resolution question

I am running PowerDVD v4 on my laptop at 1024 x 768 and the picture is jerky. I need to switch to 800 x 600 for the movie to play normally.

Does anyone know either how to get my movies to run at 1024 x 768 without being jerky or..

know how to set PowerDVD to run automatically in 800 x 600 without me changing the settings in windows before I run it?

Equip:
IBM TP 600E
Toshiba DVD
256 SDRAM
PII 366 Mhz

In order to have a good quality DVD playback you're gonna need more than PII-366. If you don't have a graphic card with DVD hardware acceleration support (such as ATI Radeon 8500/7500), you will need at least PII-500 to watch DVD's at 1024 x 768 !
