PowerDVD 4 XP Deluxe and MP3

I have win98se,sblive 5.1 and i'm using PowerDVD 4 XP Deluxe.
The mp3 playback is working only in 2 speakers mode.
When i set 6 speakers i don't have any sound with mp3's.
Everything is fine with 6 speakers and audio-cd or dvd playback.
The reason that i want powerdvd for mp3s is Dolby Prologic II

Any idea?

I'm not waiting Prologic from Mp3's but Prologic II
Prologic II is working with all 2 channels audio signals.
So did anyone managed to hear sound from mp3's with the 6 channels setting?
Any solution?
