Power VCR Pro and PCTV Rave

OK Guys(and Gals)

I have a Pinnacle PCTV Rave TV card installed. The drivers and software are also installed fine and dandy and the TV card works fine.

I recently installed Power VCR Pro which recognises my TV card as a Micromedia PCTV TV Tuner. Unfortunately I cannot change anything related to the TV card in the configuration. Power VCR wont even let me change channels. In fact the only time I can get a picture (but no sound) is when I select Replayer. I can change other things like the sound sources, but nothing to do with the TV Card.

I have also tried IuVCR 4.0 with the same problem although I do get a picture with sound.

I'm running WinMe on an ECS K7S5A with AMD 1GHz and 380 Ram using a TNT2 32Mb Graphics Card and Soundblaster Live 5.1.

Please help.

It is Most likely that the Drivers for your card are meant only to run with the Software that came with it..Many Tv Capture cards are like this..My ATI Card would only work with the ATI Software and only at low resolutions so I installed the Genaric drivers for my Card and now it works with every program accept the ATI Software..I guess cuz I have different drivers now..But now Instead of captureing to low resolutions The new drivers let me capture at Full 756_576 Resolution..They will work for your card, they work for any BT8*8 Capture card And I checked to see if your Card is supported and It IS you won"t be able to use your Pinnacle software with it But you WILL Be able to use pretty much any other software like "Adobe Premier" and "Power VCR" But for Mpeg capture the Best are either WinDVR or What Ive found really good is "Ulead Video studio 6" with the "MpegNow" Update, I can capture at 720+480 in Mpeg2 without dropping frames with great quality..anyway you can get these drivers here:___http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/____ ...
