i am running winXP without SP1 and have norton internet security 2002 installed along with norton antivirus updated on 9/11/02.... something keeps shutting down my firewall and has apparently messed with my boot record, the antivirus scan is also running extremely slow.. what has happened to my boot record is as follows... i use system commander for dual boot with WinXP pro and WinME, normally system commander launches on boot and i choose which O/S to boot..... whats happening now is i get a boot error then a question..... "boot from partition 0-3? " i am scanning for viruses now as i type this but was wondering if maybe anyone has an idea other than trying to re-enable sys commander. I'm really not sure if this is a virus or a conflict of some kind
