php i was of the same opinion SCSI rulez Then I got Liteon >>> believe me its just as good as SCSI & quicker.
well, that's something I would never do - I am prejudiced in favour of plextor and against liteons in general. have heard too much bad stuff about liteons. you know, those burners are no good, they just became so popular, because they were able to make perfect copies of certain safedisc versions where plextor failed. but that doesn't mean liteon is better. it just means many people were interested in playing computer games, so for them liteon was better at that time. but I guess the newest safedisc and securom versions cannot be copied with liteons either, unless you use the specific clonecd features, but in that case also plextors will work.

so if I really had to, I would buy a plextor atapi. but if plextor brings out scsi, then it doesn't matter any more, I'll buy a plextor scsi burner and will be happy

@pokopiko re the F1 its not all that its cracked up to be mate my local store/dealer thinks they are a pile o crap compared the the liteons ?!!? they ended up selling there entire stock for £90 a piece as they would not sell ?!

no one liked them who bought them and loads had problems with it and even old protections stalled it !?

let us know how u get on with it bud will make interesting reading :)
