Plextor PX-4012A and 99 min. CDRs

Plextor PX-4012A and 90 min. CDRs

Hello,

I want to create a Boot-CD (using floppy-emu) with additional data but the size of all data is approx. 790 MB, so I decided to use 90 min. CDRs because the Plextor PX-4012A (Frimware 1.02) should write 90 min. CDRs. But all programs (e.g. Nero, WinOnCD) told me that they are only 80 min. CDRs. Anyway, I enabled all nessacary options and burned the CDR but I can't boot from this CDR(s) and I'm not able to access all data from the CD(s) under Windows. Using a normal CDR with less data (approx. 80 min.) provides a fully working Boot-CD.

1. All programs can't "see" the 90 min. CDRs - Why?
2. All burned CDRs are not working proberly - Why?

Thanks for welcome, joripe!

I must correct my posting: using 90 min. CDRs (max. 24x)!
I'm burning approx. 88 min. to the CDR.

I used the search button but nothing of the found posts helped...

I tried Nero and WinOnCD for creating this Boot-CD:

Nero:
Error message "burning not successfully",
CDR contains all data but isn't bootable and it's not possible to access all data.

WinOnCD:
Writing successfull,
CDR contains all data but only in a few drives the booting is successfully, accessing the data is the same

Several tests of the Plextor drive(s) are good and overburning is no problem / supported (Nero gives out the same info)...

Any solution?
