Please HELP! NERO problem burning Bin/Cue of a Movie...

Hi!

I have some problems using Nero 5.5.9.0!

I tried to burn some Movies (all Bin/Cue Files) ==> everything went fine but when I try to watch the Movie on my stand-alone-DVD-Player the movie stops after 15-30 seconds!!! What am I doing wrong?

PLEASE HELP ME.... My HDD is getting full :rolleyes:

ya usualy u jsut need to burn the mpeg in video format u this program called vcdgear load the cue file and make shure fix mpeg errors is ticked and start then when it doen burnt he mpg then itll work

What speed did you burn? When burning moviez, burn at 4x!
If it were me, I would use FireBurner to burn bin&cue:D Slow down wit' da downloading and start a burnin', lol:D

Its possible the file u have downloaded is an svcd.
Your dvd may have problems playing it.
Dont use nero for bin files.
Use burnatonce or cdrwin, or if u really must fireburner.
Try the file with windvd as it plays vcd & svcd.

Hi What kind of movie do you have vcd or svcd, are they a home made one or d/l one?. I have used NERO 5.5.9.0 to burn bin/cue file (home made and download) without any problem. I can burn at 24x and 32x and movie look just like burning at 4x. I'd prefer CdrWin to burn bin/cue files but unfortunately my cdrw drive is not complatible just yet.

So you have to make sure if those movies (bin/cue file) not corrupt and complatible with your dvd player. I encounter a lot of corrupt movie from download (Kazaa). I always convert all the download movie to the format that my player can play (standard VCD / SVCD) first. Hope this help you.;)

Your movie may look the same burnt at 32x, but many standalone players struggle with highspeed burns.
If its just for yourself then fine.
If its for trade and you want compatability then as a rule its best to burn (s)vcd at around half your max speed tops.

I understand that daveml. It is just my testing to burn at top speed. I normally burn at 16X with Nero, CDRwin but now i think I change my mind to Burnatonce:D

Oh JH2001, I think your problem might do something with raw mode setting.
