i have a little computer network at home and the router has a built in firewall; i am learning how to work with proxies; i tried browsing the net with a proxy but i haven't been able to find a proxy that is anonymous; i installed antifirewall but it only addresses ftp, pop mail, newsgroup, etc.. but doesnt show you how to browse anonymous via proxy.
I installed a4proxy but none of the proxies that i have gotten from the various websites worked (i have used over 100 proxies)
i tried searching the net for tutorials but there's a lot of different information that (to me) doesn't seem real relevant to what i m trying to do.
Please tell me in simplest terms what i can do to find an anonymous proxy to browse the net; i have plugged a bunch of proxies to ie but they are waaaaay too slow and none was anonymous; does the fact that i m behind firewall cause this? some people said that i need to get a shell account or bnc in order to find anonymous proxy, and i was like, what does that mean? i got no answer from them
it sucks to be a newbie
also, if proxies die very fast, then where can one go to find good and reliable live ones?
