please help....divx to svcd ...picture upside down and back to front?

Please help....i need to make copies from divx to svcd ...
I have been using nero, but end result makes picture upside down and back to front on my stand alone dvd player...can anyone offer any advice.

Are you sure it is DivX and not XviD? Only heard of the problem with XviD, but I couldn't replicate it on my system.

You might also want to consider using CCE to do the encoding.

The reason I suspect it is happening with Nero is that it is converting the YV12 source (all MPEG4 codecs are internally YV12) to RGB24 for some strange reason and forgetting to re-flip the video (the conversion causes the video to flip).
