Please Help! aspect ratio problem in xvid to dvd

Hello everyone! I'm new here! If someone could help me I'll be very thankful. I'm desperate!!!!

I am tryin to convert an xvid avi to DVD following the tutorial on this forum (http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?p=141444) but I can't get right the aspect ratio, resolution, resize, borders, etc.

My avi is 512 x 368 and when I play fullscreen in WMP8 it almost fills the whole screen (I can see little black borders at the top and bottom).

I am tring to get an NTSC DVD.

Please somebody help me! I tried several times and I don't know what else to do!

In the latest DVD2SVCD you need to select 16:9(Encode as 4:3) to get a fullscreen 4:3 output. This problem will be fixed in the next release of DVD2SVCD.
