whenever I try to play a DVD using winDVD(version<5) or powerDVD(any version) the player crashes. Also, if i use a program like FlaskMpg to read and transcode te dvd, the program crashes. It think the problem has something to do with my audio, because if I use flaskmpg, no crashes occur as long as i do not try and transcode the audio. So mpg codecs en divx codecs seem to be fine.
also, if I try to play a DIVX movie, no problems what so ever (also with ac3)!
I've been able to watch dvd's using windvd 5 pro (that seems to have it's own audio decoding system???)
any help would be welcome
one more thing: I do have the ace mega codec pack installed, and i did install some other codecs that i later removed... any way to detect any leftovers from previuos installed codecs???
