I thought I had something for you, but BLOOD is unsupported - still, this may help with some others, and I'd never heard of it until I tripped over it by accident.
Best idea for old games, is to get/keep an old machine, loaded with a genuine ISA BUS Soundblaster card (PCI or VL-Bus graphics are probably ok, but you don't want PCI sound)
Some games are well nigh impossible to run under any form of emulation, or in machines many times faster than expected.
It may also be possible to prepare a bootable CD, if a larger loadout is required than will fit on floppy - not got time now, but search for hints on ruinning "Elite 2" or "Frontier" - that attracted quite a few tips for running in the modern era - be back later with anything I rustle up!
